Hitori Fuyu, age 16. He seems like a cold and distant guy, who is addicted to carrots lol

He actually isn't a cold as he may seem but there is a reason for the cold, lonely distant look in his eyes.

Please be warned what you are about to read is a gory tale, viewer digression is advised

In the high mountains lived a old bunny woman, she raised and loved 3 small children. 2 girls and a boy. The boy was the middle of the 3. The 2 girl's names were Mizuki and Zuzuki. And the boy was little Hitori. These 3 where abandoned by their parents and their grandma took them in. They went to school and helped around the house.

Mizuki the oldest always scolded Hitori

" Hitori you spoil Zuzuki to much! "

Hitori always replied

" She's my little sister I have to spoil her"

Zuzuki would always run off to buy things for Hitori, Mizuki and their grandma and say she made them even tho the price tags were till on the items.

They were a very happy family. Mizuki was smart and strong. Hitori was cheery and sweet and Zuzuki was fast and sneaky.

Hitori was weak so Mizuki taught him how to fight. Zuzuki was really good at memorizing things so she taught Hitori how to memorize things very fast. Everything he knows now he learned from his sisters.

They lived with their grandma for about 4 years before everything went to hell. One day mercenaries came to their home looking for things to steal and sell. Mizuki and their grandma fraught back, they lost their lives for it.. Zuzuki on the other hand was taken away. She held out her hand to Hitori, he reached out but one mercenary stabbed him in the right shoulder stopping him from grabbing his sister's hand. He could only watch as his sister was taken away.

After they left a faint voice called

" Hitori... Hitori... little brother come here "

He looks and saw Mizuki clinging to life but calling him.
" M-Mizuki.. "

He walked over to her holding his arm.
" Little brother.. I'm sorry... I won't be around any more... okay? "

She held his hand and tears were streaming down her face but she smiles like she always did.
" Mizuki you'll make it! Please... W-We can go get Zuzuki back together.. You have to make it! "

Hitori has tears in his eyes.. he could even feel the pain in his arm only pain in his heart.

" Sorry but not this time... "
She coughed up blood

" Y-You promised... You promised we'd stay together forever! Please don't go... please.. "

He tighten his grip on her hand... He felt the coldness slowly fill her hand.

" I know brother I know... but I promise I will watch over you. Go "

she coughs more and continued

" Go up stairs and grab my favorite blue scarf... and keep your carrot necklace on.. and I promise.... I promise it will be like Zuzuki and I are always with you okay...? "
She reached out her other hand and softly touched his cheek while wiping away some of his tears.
" O-Okay.. big sister... okay.. "
He cried more..
" Be good, my dear baby brother. "
She smiled one last time and past away.

Hitori felt her hand go limp and he knew she was gone... But just as he was told he walks up stairs and got the scarf. He was so shocked and pain once he left the house he just walked.. no place to go..

Few hours later, Yuka, one of Mizuki's BFFL's found him and took him in.. Yuka's parents took him to a hospital to get the knife out his shoulder. After a few days the doctor told Yuka's parents, Hitori suffered large amount of blood lost and is extremely mentally traumatized. Since he had no family left the doctors suggested he go to a orphanage but Yuka's family agreed to take Hitori in. Yuka was extremely heart broken to find out her best friend was dead, but that never stopped her from caring for Hitori when he needed help.

After several visits to the doctor he's arm healed partly. When he was stabbed the knife store through the muscle in his arm. He could move his right up but he can only put his arm half way up.

After finding this out he choice no to play any sports.. He hardly ever smiled any more.. Hitori became anti-social..

He lived with Yuka's family for about 5 years before leaving, now age 15 he left to go to Kemonomimi tree and maybe just hopefully be able to smile once again.
